# السببية

التعريف

السببية هي الرابط بين الأسباب ونتائجها. وفي الفيزياء هي القاعدة التي تقول إن النتيجة لا تسبق سببها في أي إطار مرجعي.

الدور في النموذج

يحدد مقبض نموذج الزمن بنية السبب والنتيجة: خط زمني واحد، أو حلقة، أو شجرة مقلَّمة، أو كل الفروع دفعة واحدة. ويتطلب كل منها قدرًا مختلفًا من الحوسبة. ويعطي كل منها جوابًا مختلفًا عمّا إذا كان لا بد أن يحدث الأمس كما حدث.
