حدّ لانداور هو أقل طاقة يتطلبها محو بت واحد من المعلومات. وقد بيّن رولف لانداور (1961) أنه لا يقل عن kT ln 2، نحو 3 × 10^-21 جول عند درجة حرارة الغرفة.
