# চেতনা

সংজ্ঞা

চেতনা হলো আত্মগত অভিজ্ঞতা: একটি নির্দিষ্ট ব্যবস্থা হওয়ার মতো কিছু একটা থাকা। এটি সংজ্ঞায়িত করা খুবই কঠিন, আর ভৌত পরিভাষায় ব্যাখ্যা করাও খুবই কঠিন।

অন্তর্জীবনের ছেদরেখা আর মনের মডেল একসঙ্গে ঠিক করে কোন সত্তার অভিজ্ঞতা আছে বলে ধরা হবে, আর কতটা।

মডেলে ভূমিকা

স্যান্ডবক্সে একটি ডায়াল আছে কতগুলো জিনিসের ভেতর আছে তার জন্য, আরেকটি প্রতিটির ভেতরে কতটা আছে তার জন্য। দুটিই একটি কাজ-চালানো ভিত্তির ওপর দাঁড়িয়ে, যা পুরো সাইটের জন্য এখানে একবার বলা হলো: গণনাগত ক্রিয়াবাদ। সেটি এই মত যে সঠিক গণনা চালানোই একটি মনের জন্য যথেষ্ট। সেই ভিত্তিতে মডেল মাপে একটি মন চালাতে যে কম্পিউটিং লাগত তা। এটি অভিজ্ঞতাকে নিজে মাপে না, আর যেখানে তা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সেখানে টাইলগুলোতে “আন্দাজ” ট্যাগ থাকে।
