তরঙ্গফাংশন হলো সেই গাণিতিক বস্তু, যা একটি ব্যবস্থার সম্পূর্ণ কোয়ান্টাম অবস্থা ধরে। N-সংখ্যক দুই-অবস্থার কণার জন্য এতে 2^N জটিল উপাদান আছে।
