# Superposition

Definition

Superposition ist das Prinzip, dass ein Quantensystem in einer Mischung verschiedener Zustände zugleich sein kann und erst beim Messen ein bestimmtes Ergebnis liefert.

Rolle im Modell

Die unbeobachteten Teile einer Welt mit niedriger Beobachtung werden nicht als Materie gerendert. Sie werden als Platzhalter gespeichert und ergänzt, wenn jemand hinsieht. Die Sandbox leiht sich das Wort aus der Quantenmechanik, weil die Idee eine ähnliche Gestalt hat. Der Mechanismus ist nicht derselbe.
