# آگاهی

تعریف

آگاهی تجربهٔ ذهنی است: اینکه بودن در جای یک سامانهٔ معین حس و حالی داشته باشد. تعریفش بسیار سخت است و توضیحش به زبان فیزیکی بسیار سخت‌تر.

در این سایت

مرز زندگی‌های درونی و مدل ذهن با هم تصمیم می‌گیرند کدام موجودات تجربه به حسابشان گذاشته شود، و چقدر.

نقش در مدل

جعبه‌شن یک دستگیره دارد برای اینکه چند چیز درون دارند و دیگری برای اینکه هرکدام چه مقدار درون دارد. هر دو بر یک مقدمهٔ کاری تکیه دارند، که اینجا یک بار برای کل سایت بیان می‌شود: کارکردگرایی محاسباتی. این دیدگاهی است که اجرای محاسبهٔ درست برای یک ذهن کافی است. بر پایهٔ آن مقدمه، مدل محاسباتی را می‌سنجد که یک ذهن را اجرا می‌کند. خود تجربه را نمی‌سنجد، و جایی که مهم است کاشی‌ها برچسب «حدس بی‌پشتوانه» دارند.
