Richard Feynman (1982) a fait remarquer que les ordinateurs ordinaires ne peuvent pas simuler efficacement des systèmes quantiques typiques, et a proposé les ordinateurs quantiques comme remède. Sur ce site L’échelon Quantique, pleinement intriqué est calculé pour une machine classique ordinaire, qui doit stocker 2^(particules) amplitudes. C’est l’obstacle décrit par Feynman. Rôle dans le modèle Le point de Feynman était qu’un ordinateur classique a besoin de 2^N nombres pour décrire N particules intriquées. L’échelon Quantique, pleinement intriqué est ce nombre pour un univers entier. C’est le seul réglage qui pousse le total hors de l’échelle, car l’exposant lui-même a besoin d’un exposant.
