परिभाषा

उलझाव प्रणालियों के बीच एक क्वांटम कड़ी है, ऐसी कि पूरे की अवस्था को हिस्सों की अलग-अलग अवस्थाओं के रूप में नहीं लिखा जा सकता।

मॉडल में भूमिका

उलझाव औसत-क्षेत्र और पूर्णतः उलझे पायदानों के बीच का फ़ासला है। औसत-क्षेत्र हर कण को अलग मानता है, और कुल जोड़ सीमित रहता है। पूर्णतः उलझा मान लेता है कि वे अलग नहीं हैं, और घातांक को भी घातांक मिल जाता है।
