पदार्थ की बारीकी यह है कि कोई सिमुलेशन भौतिक पदार्थ को कितनी महीनता से दर्शाता है। यह मोटे सांख्यिकीय सारांशों से अलग-अलग कणों तक, और पूर्ण क्वांटम अवस्थाओं तक जाती है।
