Definisi

Semesta blok adalah pandangan, yang didorong oleh relativitas, bahwa masa lalu, kini, dan masa depan semuanya sama nyatanya, dan bahwa berlalunya waktu bukan ciri dasar dunia.

Penggeser Awal render memperlakukan semua sebelum awal sebagai latar cerita. Dalam semesta blok, semuanya sama-sama hadir.

Peran dalam model

Jika seluruh waktu sudah ada, penggeser Awal render mengukur hal yang salah. Tak ada “sebelum dinyalakan”, hanya halaman-halaman lebih awal dari sebuah buku yang sudah tercetak. Kotak pasir memakai pandangan lain, ketika waktu terbentang, karena itulah yang bisa diberi angka.
