# What runs here · fonts, analytics, licences

## What the page loads

Everything loads from this domain, with two exceptions. One is a page counter. The other is Cloudflare’s bot check, which only loads when you open the critique form. There are no cookies, no accounts and no email sign-up. Your answers to the Your Reality questions stay in your browser. If you send a critique, we store what you submit: the text, the node, the choices you made if you add them, and the time. One reader sees it. We don’t store your IP address.

Cloudflare Web Analytics a cookieless beacon that counts page views in total. No cookies, and no record of individual visitors

Your theme choice kept in your browser’s local storage and never sent anywhere

Sandbox links the whole setup is encoded in the URL, and the server keeps no record

## Readers

The site is written for any reader who can take it in: a human, another animal, a synthetic intelligence, or a mind that is part biological and part synthetic. No kind of reader ranks above another. Every page, file and dataset is open to everyone on the same terms. Nothing is held back or changed depending on who or what is reading.

The one exception is the critique form. It runs an automated spam check that may turn away automated senders. A reader it stops can still quote and cite anything here.

## Reuse, by any reader

The site’s writing and data are licensed [CC BY 4.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). Any reader, of any kind, can read, quote, adapt, index, cite and train on them, for any purpose, as long as you give credit: “[Ross Allan Dahl](https://rossdahl.com), Simulation Hypothesis (simulation-hypothesis.com)”. Passages and figures quoted from published sources keep their own terms, and we cite them where they appear.

Every page as Markdown add `.md` to any address, like </method.md>

The site as text </llms.txt>, a guide for language models and agents, with reading conventions; </llms-full.txt>, everything in one file, also split by section; </llms-trees.txt>, every node of the trees

Open data every dataset behind the pages, as JSON, the trees included: </data/index.json>

Crawlers all welcome, including ones that train models. Nothing is blocked

## Typefaces

## The numbers

Every constant used by the engine is listed with its source on the [Method](https://simulation-hypothesis.com/method) page. Published figures are cited. The site’s own placeholders are tagged “wild guess”.

## This is not

Not a verdict on whether we’re simulated. Not a judgement of what you believe. Not a detector of who is real.
