# 无穷后退

定义

无穷后退是这样一个问题：如果我们的现实是被模拟的，运行它的现实可能也是，而且没有一个自然的停止点。

在本站

“后退”窗口。每一层都必须运行嵌套在它里面的那一层，所以可用的算力决定了最大的深度。

在模型中的作用

模拟里的模拟不是免费的。每一层都必须运行里面的那一层。“后退”窗口负责做这个除法。对大多数构建来说，层级很浅。对最大的那些，深度是零，因为外层宇宙连一份副本都运行不了。
