Lattice QCD
Definition
Lattice QCD is a way of studying quantum chromodynamics, the theory of quarks and gluons, on a grid of discrete points in spacetime. It’s among the most demanding computations in science.

The Quark rung. The computing it needs is too big to read on any normal scale.
Role in the model
When the Matter floor reaches Quark, the total stops being readable, and lattice QCD is why. Simulating the inside of a single proton carefully keeps a supercomputer busy for a long time. The sandbox multiplies that by every proton in the scenario.
